Stafa invested in an advanced order picking system from Kardex Remstar. These vertical lift systems (shuttles) enable us to generate very high storage and picking capacity for all our small order lines and Kan-Ban orders. An awful lot can be stored on a very small floor space. The shuttles are directly controlled by our new WMS. With the latest developments, we will use the latest technology in the field of storage, picking efficiency and process reliability. This is going to help us enormously in flexibility, accuracy, safety and ergonomics. Stafa has taken an huge step in the further automation and innovation of their warehouse.
